SAN DIEGO, Mar. 11, 2019 – Orbis Intelligent Systems (“Orbis”), the infrastructure monitoring subsidiary of Aquam Corporation (“Aquam”), announced today that it appointed Simon Wick as Sales Director. An internationally recognized water industry expert of nearly 30 years, Simon is responsible for evangelizing Orbis’ next-generation infrastructure monitoring technologies.
Simon transitioned from Aquam Pipe Diagnostics (“APD”), also an Aquam company, where he served as General Manager. There he led the organization, with a focus on operational rigor and customer service. Simon gained key insights in non-disruptive asset management and continued to develop relationships within the water and waste water sector, which will serve him well in his new role.
Derek is a skilled Python developer with four years of experience researching, designing, implementing and analyzing data from data sets, spreadsheets and other data sources.
Prior to joining Orbis, Derek worked as Data Engineer at Biota Technology Inc and as Software Engineer at Sequoia Analytics. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Technological Entrepreneurship & Management from Arizona State University, and he has certificates in Python for Data Science and Machine Learning, SQL, Python Data Structures, Java and Git.
